Newton V/S Maxwell:
So this sem's Physics was pretty interesting...electromagnetism... I mean you can't make all that stuff up on your own...it takes years of research, loads of brains, and an unmatchable prowess in Calculus...
Till now I have always seen Physics as this independent subject...which goes by its own rules. Sadly, Griffiths made me realise the fact that it's got a ridiculously high amount of Maths involved... But then Physics is essentially something that can be physically interpretted, right? The problem with electromagnetism I guess, is that it's difficult to demonstrate its effects on a primary level... Mechanics, on the other hand is Physics' own version of "what you see, is what you get"...bad joke:|
I never really thought I'd say this, but I've kind of started missing Newton...I mean this is the very guy who, through his marvelous works in Physics has tormented 90% students, who feel "if you don't get it, it's Physics"...
Seemingly, Newton's and my ideas match...on the other hand, Maxwell, is well, at max, good in Maths... and I, on some imaginary third hand, am not that good at Maths... Puts me in some kind of a fix... this one problem aint gonna be easy to solve:|
Physics Baba...
Several interactions with a certain Physics Baba made me question my own interest and passion towards the subject. The guy is definitely as crazy about Physics as I am, if not more. And we do share the same ground, on most divides. Several interactions with a certain Mickey made me question his interest in absolutely anything in life, and affirmed my interest and passion towards Physics, if not his. The lack of interaction with a certain Panda made me question my sanity and ascertained that he's insane for sure. And a hell lot of interaction with an Artsy Dude made me realise that life isn't all about being overanalytical and just... cause he so enjoys being critical about me being critical about absolutely anything...
The craziest bit of my life over here deals with the fact, that any guy who's played any role in it has taken the branch of Physics... it's like you'll find the weirdest lot in my branch... A Physics Baba, a feigning Mickey, an Artsy Dude, a Panda.. you get the drift, right? Such weirdos I tell you. So mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the weirdest of them all?
